Forrest DePoy is a filmmaker, writer and designer born 1994 in Indiana.

DePoy began his professional career in 2015 with the production of his short film God Among Men, which was nominated for the Best Student Film Award at The Alhambra Theatre Film Festival. His work has gone on to collect numerous accolades.

DePoy holds a Bachelor of Science in Media Arts and Science with a concentration in video and audio production from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.

In late 2017, DePoy was nominated for the Intern of the Year Award at the Indiana INTERNnet IMPACT Awards Luncheon for his numerous contributions and promotional designs for the IUPUI Center for Teaching and Learning.

In 2018, DePoy’s short film Some Place Safe won a People’s Choice Award at the IUPUI Capstone Presentation. After college, DePoy has been pursuing several scriptwriting and audio/visual opportunities as a creative multimedia specialist.
